terrain parks
Slopes with obstacles
Terrain parks are specially designed areas within ski resorts featuring jumps, rails, halfpipes, and other constructed obstacles for freestyle skiing and snowboarding.
The features are built from snow, metal, and wood to allow riders to perform aerial tricks and grinds.
Parks are typically graded by difficulty level, from beginner features to expert-only sections with massive jumps.
She spent the whole afternoon sessioning the terrain park instead of skiing runs.
