syringing

Squirting liquid through

Syringing is the act of cleaning, irrigating, or injecting with a syringe.

Most commonly it refers to ear syringing—flushing the ear canal with water to remove wax buildup: The nurse recommended syringing to clear the blockage.

Gardeners also use the term for spraying plants with water or pesticide solutions.
