Board ankle connector
A surfboard leash is a cord that attaches a surfer's ankle to the board, preventing the board from washing away after a wipeout.
Also called a leg rope.
The leash typically has a velcro cuff at one end and connects to a plug near the tail of the board: I forgot my leash and had to swim after my board three times.
