A sugar scrub is a skincare product that exfoliates by using sugar granules mixed with oils or other moisturizing ingredients.
Rubbing it on the skin removes dead cells while the oils soften and hydrate: I use a sugar scrub on my legs before shaving.
Sugar scrubs are gentler than salt scrubs and dissolve if left on the skin.
