straight person
Attracted opposite sex
A straight person is someone who is heterosexual—sexually attracted to people of the opposite sex.
The term arose as the counterpart to gay, borrowing from straight's sense of conventional or mainstream: Most of my friends are queer, but my brother is a straight person.
Often shortened to just straight: Is she straight?
