stockkeepers

Those minding merchandise

Stockkeepers are people responsible for managing inventory in a store, warehouse, or other facility.

They track what goods are on hand, monitor stock levels, and ensure items are properly stored and organized.

The term is largely interchangeable with stockkeeper in the singular, though the role may also be called stock clerk or inventory manager depending on the setting.

The stockkeepers conducted a full inventory before the holiday rush.
