state fairgrounds
Annual agricultural showcase
State fairgrounds are the permanent facilities where a state holds its annual agricultural fair—typically including exhibition halls, livestock barns, arenas, and open grounds for carnival rides and competitions.
Outside fair season, the grounds often host concerts, flea markets, and other events: The monster truck rally was at the state fairgrounds.
