stalkerish

Disturbingly fixated behavior

Stalkerish describes behavior that resembles or suggests stalking—obsessive attention, unwanted pursuit, or creepy monitoring of someone.

The word is informal and often used to acknowledge one's own potentially intrusive curiosity: I know it's stalkerish, but I looked through all her Instagram photos from 2015.

It can also describe genuinely unsettling conduct: He kept showing up at her gym, which felt stalkerish.
