sports package
Game channel tier
A sports package is a bundle of television channels dedicated to athletic programming, sold as an add-on to basic cable or streaming subscriptions: We upgraded to the sports package to watch the playoffs.
The term also refers to automotive trim options emphasizing performance or sporty appearance—firmer suspension, larger wheels, racing stripes: The sports package adds $3,000 to the base price.
