speed booster
Makes things faster
A speed booster is an adapter that mounts a lens designed for a larger sensor onto a camera with a smaller sensor, compressing the image circle to increase both the effective aperture and field of view.
The effect counteracts the crop factor of smaller sensors, making a full-frame lens behave more like it would on its native format.
Also called a focal reducer.
In video games and other contexts, a speed booster is any power-up or item that temporarily increases a character's movement speed.
