special editions
Collector's version releases
Special editions are versions of products—books, films, albums, video games—released with additional content, enhanced packaging, or exclusive features not found in the standard release.
Publishers use them to attract collectors, commemorate anniversaries, or revive interest in older titles.
A special edition might include bonus materials, alternate artwork, or premium physical components.

The term sometimes gets applied loosely to minor repackaging that adds little actual value.
