out of print
Not being printed
Out of print describes a book or publication no longer being produced by its publisher.
When a title goes out of print, existing copies may still circulate in libraries or secondhand markets, but no new copies are being made: The novel went out of print in the 1990s but was reissued last year.
The opposite is in print.
