sliminess

Slippery, mucous texture

Sliminess is the quality of being covered with or resembling slime—wet, slippery, and slightly repulsive to touch: the sliminess of raw egg whites, the sliminess of algae on submerged rocks.

Figuratively, sliminess describes behavior that feels morally repugnant or disgustingly ingratiating: There was a sliminess to his flattery that made everyone uncomfortable.
