skygazers
Those watching above
Skygazers are people who watch the sky, especially those who observe celestial events like meteor showers, eclipses, or planetary alignments: Skygazers gathered on the hilltop to watch the lunar eclipse.
The term suggests amateur enthusiasm rather than professional astronomy, often implying wonder or contemplation.
