sink area
Where dishes wait
The sink area is the zone around a kitchen or bathroom sink, including the basin, countertop space on either side, and often the backsplash.
In kitchen design, the sink area forms one point of the work triangle along with the stove and refrigerator.
Keep the sink area clear for food prep.
