signed photos
Autographed celebrity portraits
Signed photos are photographs bearing the signature of the person pictured, typically a celebrity, athlete, or public figure.
The signature transforms an ordinary image into a collectible or keepsake: She had signed photos of all her favorite actors.
Authenticity matters in the memorabilia market, where forged signatures are common.
The term also appears in fan culture, where obtaining signed photos at conventions or events marks a prized interaction.
