sidestepper
One who avoids
A sidestepper is someone who avoids confrontation or commitment by moving around obstacles rather than through them.
The term applies literally to dancers or athletes who step to the side, but more often describes people who evade direct questions or responsibilities: He's a classic sidestepper—never gives you a straight answer.
