shuffle mode
Unpredictable playlist setting
Shuffle mode is a playback setting that randomizes the order of songs in a playlist or album rather than playing them sequentially.
The feature appears on music players, streaming services, and media apps: I put my workout playlist on shuffle mode.
Often shortened to just shuffle: Hit shuffle and let it surprise you.
