showeth

Demonstrates in scripture

Showeth is an archaic form of "shows," the third-person singular present tense.

The -eth ending was standard in Early Modern English and persists mainly in biblical and liturgical contexts: The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament showeth his handywork.

Outside religious quotation, it sounds deliberately antiquated or mock-formal.
