shapechanger
Body-altering being
A shapechanger is a being that can transform its physical form into something else—another creature, another person, an object.
The term appears primarily in fantasy and folklore contexts: werewolves, skin-walkers, and trickster gods are all shapechangers.
The shapechanger took the form of a raven and flew away.
Also shapeshifter.
