scumminess

State of depravity

Scumminess is the quality of being scummy—morally low, contemptible, or sleazy.

The word suggests dishonest or exploitative behavior: the sheer scumminess of the scheme, I was disgusted by the scumminess of the whole operation.

It can also describe physical griminess, though the moral sense dominates.
