scapulas

Back shoulder bones

Scapulas is the plural of scapula, the flat triangular bone at the back of the shoulder, also called the shoulder blade.

The bone connects the upper arm to the collarbone and provides attachment points for muscles that move the arm.

Latin plurals both forms: scapulas and scapulae.
