A safety advocate is someone who promotes protective measures and awareness in a particular domain—workplace safety, child safety, traffic safety, and so on.
The term often describes professionals or activists who push for regulations, training, or cultural change to prevent harm: Safety advocates urged the company to install guardrails.
It can also apply more casually to anyone vigilant about precautions: My mother was always the safety advocate on road trips.
