runner's high
Jogger's natural buzz
Runner's high is a feeling of euphoria and reduced anxiety that can occur during or after sustained aerobic exercise.
The sensation is attributed to endorphins and other neurochemicals released during prolonged physical exertion.
Not everyone experiences it, and it typically requires extended effort: I didn't hit the runner's high until mile six.
