rubbish pile
Heap of trash
A rubbish pile is an accumulation of discarded items, garbage, or unwanted materials heaped together.
The term is more common in British English than American, where *trash heap* or *garbage pile* prevails.
It can describe anything from household waste awaiting collection to larger dumps: The backyard had become a rubbish pile of broken furniture and old appliances.
