rubber molds
Flexible shaping cavities
Rubber molds are flexible forms used to cast objects by pouring liquid material—resin, plaster, concrete, chocolate—into a shaped cavity and letting it harden.
The rubber's flexibility allows the finished piece to be removed without destroying the mold, making them reusable and ideal for shapes with undercuts or fine detail: She poured the soap mixture into rubber molds shaped like seashells.
