revoice
Dub audio anew
To revoice something is to give it a new voice or vocal quality.
In audio production, revoicing means replacing or redoing vocal tracks—a film might be revoiced for a foreign market, or an actor might revoice lines recorded poorly on set.
In music, revoicing a chord means rearranging which notes are played in which octave, changing its texture without changing the harmony.
Pipe organs are revoiced when their pipes are adjusted to alter tone quality.
