reverse dive
Back-facing water entry
A reverse dive is a dive in which the diver faces forward on the board or platform but rotates backward toward the board after takeoff.
The diver springs up and away while arching back, creating a trajectory that carries them over and past their starting position.
One of the basic dive categories in competitive diving, along with forward, backward, inward, and twisting dives.
