requoting
Repeating someone's words
Requoting is the act of quoting something again, whether repeating someone's words a second time or providing a new price quote to replace an earlier one.
In financial markets, requoting occurs when a broker offers a different price than initially displayed, often because market conditions changed during the transaction.
The dealer kept requoting higher prices as demand increased.
