repair cafe
Community mending meetup
A repair cafe is a community event where volunteers help people fix broken items—electronics, clothing, furniture, appliances—rather than discarding them.
The gatherings combine practical skill-sharing with environmental activism, reducing waste while teaching repair techniques: The repair cafe saved my grandmother's sewing machine from the landfill.
