reorg
Company shake-up, informally
Reorg is informal shorthand for reorganization, especially a corporate restructuring that reshuffles departments, reporting lines, or staff: The company announced another reorg, I survived three reorgs in five years.
The word carries weary familiarity—reorgs are common enough in business to need their own abbreviation.
Also used as a verb: They're reorging the whole division.
