Sequential team racing
Relay swimming is a competitive event in which teams of swimmers take turns completing portions of a race, each member diving in as the previous one touches the wall.
Standard relays feature four swimmers, with common formats including the 4×100 meter freestyle and the medley relay, where each swimmer uses a different stroke: Our relay team won gold in the 4×200 freestyle.
