relationship anarchy
Bonds without hierarchy
Relationship anarchy is an approach to relationships that rejects hierarchies and predefined rules.
Rather than privileging romantic or sexual partnerships over friendships, relationship anarchists let each connection develop on its own terms, negotiated between the people involved: We practice relationship anarchy, so I don't rank my partners.
The philosophy emerged from polyamorous and queer communities but applies to all relationship types.
