reimmersion
Going under twice
Reimmersion is the act of immersing again—plunging back into something after having emerged.
The term appears in religious contexts for a second baptism, but more often describes returning to an activity, environment, or state of mind: After months away, her reimmersion in academic life felt jarring.
The prefix re- emphasizes resumption after interruption.
