red band
Danger marking strip
A red band trailer is a movie preview approved for restricted audiences, typically containing content too violent, sexual, or profane for the standard green band version shown to general audiences.
The name comes from the red rating card displayed before the trailer: The red band trailer shows way more gore than the theatrical version.
