real-time graphics
Live rendered imagery
Real-time graphics are visual images generated and displayed instantaneously, fast enough to respond to user input without perceptible delay.
The term dominates video game and simulation contexts, where frames must render thirty to sixty times per second to maintain smooth motion: Real-time graphics have advanced dramatically since the early days of 3D gaming.
Contrast with pre-rendered graphics, which are computed in advance and played back.
