reacclimatising

Getting used again

Reacclimatising is the process of adjusting again to a climate, environment, or set of conditions after time away.

Someone returning home after years abroad might spend weeks reacclimatising to the weather, the food, or the pace of life: I'm still reacclimatising to British winters.

British spelling of reacclimatizing.
