raspa
Lively couple's shuffle
Raspa is a Mexican shaved ice treat, similar to a snow cone but with finer, fluffier ice.
Vendors shave ice from a block and drench it in flavored syrups—tamarind, mango, chamoy, lime.
The word comes from Spanish *raspar*, to scrape.
In some regions, raspa also means a wild party or the act of scraping something clean.
