rage comic
Derpy face meme
Rage comics are a style of internet comic strip using a set of crudely drawn faces expressing exaggerated emotions—frustration, triumph, disgust, mischievous glee.
Originating on 4chan around 2008 and popularizing on Reddit, they typically depict relatable everyday annoyances or social situations.
The format peaked in the early 2010s and now reads as dated, though faces like the troll face and "forever alone" guy persist as reaction images.
