radiator hose
Engine cooling tube
A radiator hose is a flexible rubber tube that carries coolant between an engine and its radiator.
Most vehicles have two: an upper hose carrying hot coolant from the engine to the radiator, and a lower hose returning cooled fluid.
A cracked or leaky radiator hose causes overheating: The mechanic said my radiator hose needs replacing.
