pullthrough
Survive the crisis
A pullthrough is a cleaning tool—typically a cord or cable with a patch or brush attached—drawn through a gun barrel or other tube to remove residue.
The term also names a type of campsite where vehicles can drive straight through rather than backing out: We got lucky with a pullthrough at the RV park.
As a verb phrase, to pull through means to survive or recover from difficulty: She pulled through the surgery just fine.
