primest
Of highest quality
Primest is the superlative form of prime, meaning most excellent or of the highest quality.
The word is uncommon because prime already suggests a peak or optimal state that resists further gradation—something is either prime or it isn't.
When it does appear, it often sounds deliberately emphatic or playful: Only the primest cuts of beef for this recipe.
