Engine to wheels
A power train is the assembly of components that generates power and delivers it to a vehicle's wheels—typically the engine, transmission, driveshaft, and axles.
Also spelled powertrain.
The term extends to any system that converts energy into motion: electric vehicles have simpler power trains than gas-powered cars.
