posterizing
Slam over defender
Posterizing is a basketball term for dunking on an opponent so emphatically that the image could become a poster—the defender frozen helplessly as the ball slams through: He posterized the center with a two-handed jam.
The term has spread to any dramatic domination captured in a memorable image.
In digital imaging, posterizing reduces the number of colors in an image, creating flat bands of color that resemble a printed poster.
