poker runs
Card-collecting motorcycle events
A poker run is an organized event where participants travel a route—typically by motorcycle, boat, or car—stopping at checkpoints to draw playing cards.
At the end, whoever holds the best poker hand wins a prize.
Poker runs are social gatherings as much as competitions, often organized as charity fundraisers: The motorcycle club's annual poker run raised money for veterans.
