platinum trophy
Complete game mastery
A platinum trophy is the highest achievement in PlayStation video games, awarded for unlocking every other trophy in a game.
Earning one typically requires completing the game thoroughly, often including difficult challenges and hidden objectives.
Players who pursue platinum trophies are called trophy hunters: I finally got the platinum trophy after three playthroughs.
The term sometimes extends loosely to complete achievement sets on other platforms.
