pilsener

Light Czech beer

Pilsener is a pale, golden lager beer with a crisp, hoppy flavor, originally brewed in the Czech city of Pilsen.

The style became so influential that most mass-market lagers worldwide are variations of it: He ordered a pilsener to go with his burger.
