picotee
Rim-colored flower variety
A picotee is a flower, especially a carnation or tulip, with petals of one color edged in a contrasting shade: The picotee carnations had white petals rimmed in deep red.
The term describes both the flower variety and the distinctive edge pattern itself.
Picotee markings appear in many ornamental plants bred for this effect.
