phonebanking

Campaign call center

Phonebanking is organized telephone outreach, typically for political campaigns or fundraising.

Volunteers or paid staff work through lists of numbers, calling voters to persuade, inform, or mobilize them: I spent Saturday phonebanking for the local candidate.

The term also applies to banking services conducted by phone, though this sense is less common now that online banking dominates.
