pet microchip
Implanted identification tag
A pet microchip is a tiny electronic chip implanted under an animal's skin, typically between the shoulder blades, that stores a unique identification number.
When scanned, the number links to a database with the owner's contact information, helping reunite lost pets with their families: Make sure your pet's microchip registration is up to date.
Unlike GPS trackers, microchips don't broadcast location—they only work when scanned by a reader.
